Human Complement Component 6 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Human Complement C6 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Complement C6 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a capture antibody specific for Complement C6. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Complement C6 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change proportional to the amount of Complement C6 captured, which is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.255 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. The kit is intended for use with human samples. Recovery data are provided for serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%–99%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same three sample types. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
