Human Complement Component 1, Q Subcomponent Like Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Complement Component 1, Q Subcomponent Like Protein 1 (C1QL1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate onto which standards and samples are added; captured C1QL1 is detected using a biotinylated anti-C1QL1 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the C1QL1 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Sample recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5, range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%, average 84%).
