Human Complement Component 1, Q Subcomponent C ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Complement Component 1, Q Subcomponent C (C1QC) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

Using a biotinylated anti-C1QC detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, the kit yields a yellow colour change proportional to C1QC concentration. The stated assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 14.8 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4h 30m. Compatible sample types include serum and plasma (EDTA or heparin anticoagulant), and the assay is reactive with human samples.
