Human Complement Component 1, Q Receptor ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD93 (also referred to as Complement Component 1, Q Receptor) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate, employing a Biotinylated Anti-CD93 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. Colour development is read as optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and the concentration of CD93 is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

The kit reports a sensitivity of less than 0.34 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml. Validation data (n=5) report recovery of 80–102% in serum, 81–100% in EDTA plasma and 80–89% in heparin plasma. Linearity was demonstrated across sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
