From Antibodies.com, this Human G-CSF ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human G-CSF in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-G-CSF antibody paired with an HRP-avidin conjugate; G-CSF concentration is determined from absorbance at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

The quantitative assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.4 pg/ml. Detection is colorimetric and read on a microplate reader, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Recovery is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with linearity data available at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
