Human Collagen Type XIII ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com ELISA kit enables the in vitro sandwich-based quantitative determination of Collagen Type XIII (COL13A1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The workflow uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-COL13A1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the colourimetric reaction read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is 0.053 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5, range 83% – 100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90% – 103%, average 96%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 89% – 102%, average 95%). Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A and B, Wash Buffer (30×), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.
