Human Collagen Type VIII Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Collagen Type VIII Alpha 1 (COL8A1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilized antibody specific for COL8A1, followed by a biotinylated anti-COL8A1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is 0.052 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a typical total assay time of 4h 30m. Reagents are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit is intended for research use only.
