Human Collagen Type VI Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human COL6A1 (Collagen Type VI Alpha 1) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. It is reactive with human samples and runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips.

Sensitivity is reported at 0.063 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5), with average recoveries of 91%, 91% and 84% respectively, and observed ranges of 80–102%, 81–101% and 80–89%. Dilution-level recovery data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are provided in the product documentation for each of the three sample types. Results are read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
