Human Collagen Type IX Alpha 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human COL9A3 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and follows the sandwich enzyme immunoassay principle: standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-COL9A3 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit offers an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.29 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported average recovery values were 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%–102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–101%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity is documented from 1:2 through 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
