Human Cofilin 2, Muscle ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cofilin 2, Muscle in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for Cofilin 2 pre-coated onto a microtiter plate, followed by a biotinylated anti-Cofilin 2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Stated performance characteristics include a product range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <13.72 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, with kit components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date. Sample matrix recovery testing produced averages of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (80–89%). Dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 yielded recoveries of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, and 92–97% respectively for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
