Human Coagulation Factor XIII A1 Polypeptide ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-Factor XIIIa detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Spike-and-recovery across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 per matrix) gave average recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively, with individual ranges of 80%-102%, 81%-100% and 80%-89%. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum recoveries of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma recoveries of 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; and heparin plasma recoveries of 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.
