Human Coagulation Factor VIII ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Factor VIII in plasma or other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format with a colourmetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is below 0.055 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, with the kit not to be used past its expiration date.

Reported recovery values are: serum 80%–102% (n=5, average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–99% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Linearity was evaluated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
