Human Coagulation Factor II ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Thrombin in plasma or other biological fluids. The capture antibody specific for Thrombin is pre-coated on a 96-well microtiter plate; bound analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Thrombin Antibody, HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate, then quantified by absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The target is also listed under the broader designation Coagulation Factor II [S1][C0].

The kit is provided on a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips, with a quantitative working range of 9.38–600 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <3.0 ng/ml. The full protocol runs in 4 h 30 m, and reagents are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as directed. Recovery has been reported in serum (average 91%), EDTA plasma (average 90%) and heparin plasma (average 84%), with dilution linearity evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 [S1].
