Human Coactosin Like Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human COTL1 (Coactosin Like Protein 1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, using a pre-coated microplate format.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.058 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Detection uses a biotinylated anti-COTL1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised with a TMB substrate that turns yellow on addition of the stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm with a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, with components stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.

In manufacturer-reported validation, average recovery was 91% in serum (n=5; range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%).
