Human Clusterin ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Clusterin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Clusterin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is converted to a yellow product that is measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with Clusterin concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reactivity is specific to human samples. The assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.37 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%), with linearity confirmed across serial dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.
