Human Cluster Of Differentiation 99 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD99 (Cluster of Differentiation 99) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for CD99 is pre-coated onto the microplate, with CD99 captured from standards and samples, detected using a Biotinylated Anti-CD99 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and visualised with TMB substrate (blue product turning yellow on addition of stop solution). Absorbance is read at 450nm in a microplate reader and the CD99 concentration is calculated against the standard curve. Sensitivity is reported at <0.058 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery averages were 93% in serum (range 84–102%, n=5), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 90–101%, n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 92–98%, n=5).
