Human Cluster Of Differentiation 83 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cluster Of Differentiation 83 (CD83) in serum, plasma, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and employs a biotinylated anti-CD83 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and CD83 concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <13.2 pg/ml with an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date.

Sample recovery data are reported for serum (n=5, average 84%-102%, 93%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 91%-100%, 95%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 92%-98%, 95%). Dilution linearity is provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
