From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cluster Of Differentiation 72 (CD72) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay is read on a microplate reader at 450 nm, with a reported sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The procedure uses pre-coated capture antibody wells, a Biotinylated Anti-CD72 detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate generates a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to CD72 concentration. Reported recovery in serum ranges from 83% to 100% (average 91%, n=5), in EDTA plasma from 91% to 100% (average 95%, n=5), and in heparin plasma from 91% to 101% (average 96%, n=5).
