Human Cluster Of Differentiation 3d ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative determination of human Cluster of Differentiation 3d (CD3D) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. It is supplied on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay uses a sandwich immunoassay format in which CD3D in standards or samples is captured by an immobilized specific antibody, then detected using a biotinylated anti-CD3D antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate generates a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; the absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of CD3D captured and is quantified by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and serum and plasma samples are recommended to be diluted at least 1:2 with the supplied sample dilution buffer prior to testing.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.05 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. In validation testing across serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and heparin plasma (n=5), observed recovery ranges were 83–100% (average 91%), 91–98% (average 94%) and 90–99% (average 94%), respectively. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the protocol.
