Human Cluster Of Differentiation 30 Ligand ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD30 Ligand (CD30-L) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells and CD30-L is captured by an immobilized specific antibody. Detection is performed using a Biotinylated Anti-CD30-L Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450nm and CD30-L concentration is calculated against a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <33 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml. Reported average recovery is 91% in serum (range 83-100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 91-102%, n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89-102%, n=5). Kit components comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solution A, detection solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past the expiration date.
