From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative determination of human CD226 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated anti-CD226 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow product read at 450 nm, with colour intensity proportional to CD226 concentration in the sample.

Sensitivity is reported at <11.2 pg/ml with an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Average recovery across sample types was 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90–99%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
