Human Cluster Of Differentiation 200 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD200/OX2, also known as Cluster of Differentiation 200, in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with CD200/OX2 captured by an immobilised antibody and detected using a Biotinylated Anti-CD200/OX2 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. Visualisation is achieved with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 5.1 pg/ml and an assay range of 12.5–800 pg/ml, with concentration calculated by referring absorbance readings to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery evaluation yielded average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 91–102%, n=5), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same sample types.

Reactivity is specific to human samples. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
