From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CPSF1 (Cleavage And Polyadenylation Specific Factor 1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for CPSF1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate; standards and samples are added and bound by the immobilised antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-CPSF1 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate visualises the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Sensitivity is 0.129 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
