Human Claudin 11 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Claudin 11 — also known as Oligodendrocyte Specific Protein — in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit is configured for human reactivity and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay uses a pre-coated plate to capture target, a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow product is proportional to analyte concentration and quantified against a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m, with a stated measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml.

Spike-and-recovery performance was evaluated in n=5 samples per matrix: serum 83–100% (mean 91%), EDTA plasma 90–98% (mean 94%) and heparin plasma 89–102% (mean 95%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was assessed in the same three matrices (n=5 each). Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
