Human Chymotrypsinogen B2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CTRB2 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where CTRB2 is captured by an immobilised antibody. After incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-CTRB2 antibody is added, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate visualises the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; the yellow intensity is proportional to the amount of CTRB2 captured, measured by absorbance at 450 nm.

The standard assay range is 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.62 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery ranges (n=5) are: serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
