Human Chromobox Homolog 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human HP1 gamma/CBX3 (Chromobox Homolog 3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. A biotinylated anti-HP1 gamma/CBX3 detection antibody binds captured analyte, and an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The reported sensitivity is <0.056 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Performance has been characterised in human serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5), with reported recovery averages of 91%, 90% and 84% and ranges of 80%–102%, 81%–100% and 80%–89% respectively. Across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, recovery values across these matrices ranged from 74% to 108%. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
