Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor alpha 1 (CHRNA1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows a sandwich enzyme immunoassay workflow: standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with an antibody specific for CHRNA1, followed by a biotinylated anti-CHRNA1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. Colour development is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the resulting absorbance proportional to CHRNA1 concentration. The reported product range is 0.781–50 ng/ml and sensitivity is 0.28 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reagent components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
