Human Cholinergic Receptor, Muscarinic 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor 2/CM2 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where target analyte is captured by the immobilised antibody. A Biotinylated Anti-Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor 2/CM2 Antibody is then added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to target concentration and is read as absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is reactive with human samples, and components are intended for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
