Human Chloride Intracellular Channel Protein 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Chloride Intracellular Channel Protein 4 (CLIC4) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and results are read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The kit employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format. An antibody specific for CLIC4 is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and samples are added and the CLIC4 present in each sample is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-CLIC4 Antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by incubation with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is then added, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of CLIC4 captured in each well and is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <30 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples with average recoveries of 91%, 90%, and 84% respectively at the neat dilution. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
