Human Chemokine C-X-C-Motif Ligand 16 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative measurement of human CXCL16 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-CXCL16 detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the standard curve spans 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.067 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing gave averages of 91% in serum (range 83%–100%, n=5), 94% in EDTA plasma (90%–98%, n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (89%–102%, n=5). Dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 produced recoveries of 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98% and 82–108% for serum (n=5); 90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109% and 87–91% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98% and 87–110% for heparin plasma (n=5).
