Human Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 5 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the quantitative in vitro determination of human CCR5 (Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 5) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The procedure employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an anti-CCR5 antibody, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-CCR5 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is <6.5 pg/ml and the assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Average recoveries are 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
