Human Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human CCR4 (Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CCR4. Standards and samples are added to the wells; following incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-CCR4 antibody is applied, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with CCR4 concentration calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Average recovery in serum is 91% (range 80-102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81-100%, n=5), and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity data for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 are also provided by the manufacturer.
