Human Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human CCR2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CCR2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate to which a CCR2-specific antibody has been immobilised. Captured CCR2 is detected using a biotinylated anti-CCR2 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate used to visualise the enzymatic reaction; the blue product changes to yellow after addition of stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a reported detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample types validated for use include serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date. The kit is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
