Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CCL14 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-CCL14 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance characteristics listed in the manufacturer protocol include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.8 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recoveries (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 83%-100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (90%-103%) and 95% for heparin plasma (89%-102%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 is reported for serum (82%-110%), EDTA plasma (73%-109%) and heparin plasma (77%-110%).
