From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for Human samples is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Chemokine C-C-Motif Ligand 1 (CCL1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for CCL1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CCL1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with detection via TMB substrate read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of <27 pg/ml and a working range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5), and 84% in Heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Linearity data at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 are provided for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%), and Heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%).
