Human Chemerin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Chemerin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an antibody specific for Chemerin, followed by a biotinylated anti-Chemerin detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. Colour development is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the absorbance proportional to the amount of Chemerin captured in each well.

According to the manufacturer's datasheet, the product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.058 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery data (n=5 per matrix) give averages of 91% for serum (range 80% - 102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81% - 100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (80% - 89%), and dilution linearity is provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions for the same three sample types.

Kit components comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
