Human Ceruloplasmin ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ceruloplasmin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 × 8 well strips) with a Ceruloplasmin-specific capture antibody, a Biotinylated Anti-Ceruloplasmin detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The stated product range is 0.625–40 ng/ml and the reported sensitivity is 0.283 ng/ml; the total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Spike-and-recovery performance: serum (n=5) range 80–102 %, average 91 %; EDTA plasma (n=5) range 81–99 %, average 90 %; heparin plasma (n=5) range 80–89 %, average 84 %. Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same three matrices (n=5 each), with serum ranges of 87–91 %, 87–107 %, 74–101 % and 92–97 %, EDTA plasma ranges of 90–105 %, 84–101 %, 90–101 % and 79–108 %, and heparin plasma ranges of 84–95 %, 92–105 %, 82–105 % and 89–91 %. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed in the manual and should not be used past the stated expiration date.

The kit ships with a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers.
