Human Cerebral Dopamine Neurotrophic Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cerebral Dopamine Neurotrophic Factor (CDNF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for CDNF, followed by detection with a Biotinylated Anti-CDNF Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a colourmetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The quantitative sandwich assay has a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported validation recovery averages were 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 80%–102%, 81%–100%, and 80%–89% respectively.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Storage conditions differ by component, with some stored at +4°C and others at -20°C as instructed. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
