Human Centromere Protein E ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human centromere protein E (CENPE) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-CENPE detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow after the stop solution is added; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with CENPE concentration calculated from a standard curve.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.124 ng/ml and a working range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery values are reported for serum (n=5) at 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) at 81%-100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5) at 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity is also reported for the same matrices at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
