Human Cellular Repressor Of E1A Stimulated Genes 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CREG1/CREG (Cellular Repressor of E1A-Stimulated Genes 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format with colorimetric detection.

In the workflow, standards and samples are added to the wells where CREG1/CREG is captured by the immobilised antibody. After incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-CREG1/CREG antibody binds the captured target, followed by addition of an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and CREG1/CREG concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit reports an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been characterised across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each), with mean recovery values of 91%, 90%, and 84% respectively. Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
