Human CD14 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD14 in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The assay is built on a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay format, with a monoclonal antibody specific for human sCD14 immobilised on microwells. Standards or samples are incubated with a biotin-linked detection antibody, followed by streptavidin-HRP and a substrate that yields a colorimetric signal proportional to the amount of sCD14 bound. Readout is performed on a microplate platform.

No significant cross-reactivity has been observed, and the kit can assay both native and recombinant human sCD14. The stated assay range is 125 - 8000 pg/ml and the reported sensitivity is 2.58 pg/ml (also given as <2.58 pg/ml). Kits should be stored at +4°C and not used past the stated expiration date.
