Human CCL26 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CCL26 in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. The assay is quantitative and colorimetric, run on a microplate platform.

The kit uses a sandwich immunoassay technique in which a monoclonal antibody specific for human Eotaxin-3 (CCL26) is immobilized onto microwells. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by a biotin-linked detection antibody specific for Eotaxin-3, and any CCL26 present is bound by the immobilized and detection antibodies during a first incubation. After removal of unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added for a second incubation. Following washing, substrate solution reacts with HRP and colour develops in proportion to the amount of Eotaxin-3 bound; the reaction is stopped by addition of acid and the optical density is measured using a microplate reader.

The kit has shown no significant cross-reactivity and can assay both native and recombinant human Eotaxin-3. The stated product range is 15.63 - 1000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of <1.44 pg/ml. Average recovery from serum samples is reported as 94%. Components should be stored at +4°C and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
