Human CCL17 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CCL17 in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. The kit is reactive with human samples and shows no significant cross-reactivity, and can assay both native and recombinant human CCL17.

Quantitative performance is supported by a product range of 15.63 - 1000 pg/ml and a reported sensitivity of 1.33 pg/ml, with an average recovery from serum samples of 101%. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform, and kit components are stored at +4°C.

The assay uses a quantitative sandwich format. A monoclonal antibody specific for human CCL17 is immobilised onto microwells; standards or samples are pipetted in, followed by a biotin-linked detect antibody specific for CCL17, so that CCL17 present is bound by both the immobilised and the detect antibody. After removal of unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added and a substrate solution reacts with HRP, producing colour in proportion to the amount of CCL17 bound by the immobilised antibody. The colour development is stopped by addition of acid and the optical density is measured on a microplate reader.
