Human Cathepsin V ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cathepsin V in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate to which standards and samples are added; captured Cathepsin V is detected using a biotinylated anti-Cathepsin V antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed using a TMB substrate and read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is <10.9 pg/ml and the working range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) yielded average recoveries of 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma, and dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16.
