Human Cathepsin S ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cathepsin S in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-Cathepsin S detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with colour development by TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.066 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The kit is reactive with human samples, and recovery data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
