Human Catenin Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative determination of human CTNNA1 (Catenin Alpha 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-CTNNA1 detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m. The kit has a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Supplied components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

The procedure involves sequential incubations with detection reagents, washing steps, TMB substrate development and an acidic stop reaction that changes colour from blue to yellow, with the resulting absorbance at 450 nm used to calculate CTNNA1 concentrations against the standard curve.
