Human Caspase Activated DNase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DFFB/CAD (Caspase Activated DNase) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for DFFB/CAD. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-DFFB/CAD Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution is then used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of DFFB/CAD captured in each well, and concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.
