Human Caspase 4 ELISA Kit

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Caspase-4 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. Standards and samples are added to wells of a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, where the analyte is captured by an immobilised antibody specific for Caspase-4. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Caspase-4 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP conjugate; TMB substrate then produces a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with intensity proportional to the amount of Caspase-4 captured in each well.

The assay covers a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, n=5, range 80%-102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5, range 81%-100%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5, range 80%-89%), with sample dilution series from 1:2 through 1:16 examined across the same matrices. The protein target is Caspase-4 and reactivity is confirmed for human samples.
