Human Casein Kappa ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human Casein Kappa ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Casein Kappa in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The workflow uses a pre-coated microplate to which standards and test samples are added; captured Casein Kappa is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Casein Kappa antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer's specification, the assay has a sensitivity of <11.8 ng/ml and a working range of 31.2–2000 ng/ml. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported spike-and-recovery performance is 80–102% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 81–100% (average 90%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma, with dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 also evaluated in the same sample types.

The assay is configured for human samples and is suitable for research applications requiring quantitative measurement of Casein Kappa across the specified dynamic range.
