Human Cartilage Intermediate Layer Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cartilage Intermediate Layer Protein 2 (CILP2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-CILP2 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer-stated performance includes an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.134 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. The kit contains lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Spiking-recovery figures (n=5) include ranges of 80-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma, together with dilution-linearity data for each matrix at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
